Develop a better understanding of cubic measure by building a cubic metre. Students join metre long sticks to form a cube - learning about vertices faces and edges along the way.
Students will also learn about volume and cubic measure. Grab a centicube and ask “Will a million of these fit in here?” See how many children can fit inside the cube. Use newspaper to create 1m x 1m squares and cover the cube.
